Some days in business are exciting. Some are challenging. And then there are the days that become part of your story forever.

The day we signed the papers to bring Wildbeary into the Mattie's Jams & Jellies family was one of those unforgettable days.

As I sat down to sign the documents, I couldn't help but think about how far this journey has come. What started as a dream in my kitchen, creating unique jams and jellies for family, friends, and local customers, had grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined.

Wildbeary is a brand with a rich history and a loyal following. For years, people have loved the flavors, traditions, and memories connected to its products. The opportunity to become the next steward of that legacy was both exciting and humbling.

When the final signatures were placed on the paperwork, it wasn't just the purchase of a brand. It represented a commitment to preserving something people already loved while also creating new opportunities for growth.

I thought about the early mornings spent cooking batches of jam, the long days at farmers markets, the countless jars labeled by hand, and every customer who believed in Mattie's Jams & Jellies. Those moments helped make this milestone possible.

I also thought about my daughters and the example I hope to set for them. Building a business isn't always easy. There are risks, sacrifices, and plenty of uncertainty along the way. But there is also incredible reward in staying faithful to a vision and continuing to move forward one step at a time.

Bringing Wildbeary into the Mattie's Jams & Jellies family allows us to expand our offerings while staying true to what matters most: quality ingredients, handcrafted products, and creating flavors people are excited to share around their tables.

This new chapter means more opportunities to introduce customers to the huckleberry products they already know and love while continuing to develop new creations that reflect the heart of our business.

As we move forward, our mission remains the same. We want to create products that bring people together, celebrate local flavors, and make ordinary moments a little more special.

The signing of those papers was not the end of a journey. It was the beginning of a new one.
